10th International Congress of the GRS and IGF Societies
Dear Colleagues
On behalf of the Growth Hormone Research Society (GRS) and the IGF Society, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 10th International Congress of our societies, which will be held in Foz do Iguassu, Brazil, November 13-16, 2020.
GRS was founded in 1992 and the IGF Society in 1994, both with the mission to bring together basic and clinical scientists and to promote scientific research and clinical advancement in the fields of GH and IGFs. The first joint meeting of these sister societies was held in Boston, 2002, and subsequently bi-annually in Australia, Japan, Italy, USA, Germany, Singapore, Israel and USA. The International Congress in 2020 is the first to happen in South America.
World leaders in selected subspecialties of GH/IGF will deliver Plenary Lectures, including the traditional ones on “Two years in GH” and “Two years in IGF”. The contribution of South American researchers for the knowledge on GH/IGF will be covered and acknowledged. Moreover, the Program Organizing Committee considers the participation of young scientists and clinicians as a key point of the meeting, and for this purpose, several travel grants will be granted for abstract presenters.
We welcome all of you to Foz do Iguassu, the city of the Triple Frontier uniting Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil, and the home of one of the Seven New Wonders of Nature. We believe that the 10th International Congress of GRS and IGF Societies will be a unique opportunity to update on the best of GH-IGF science and clinical practice to all audiences interested in this field, and a perfect venue to share science, meet friends and enjoy good moments.
